Walk Ancient, Live Present

Honouring the Past, Shaping the Future: The Value of Indigenous Knowledge

   - Lore School

Proudly delivering to all of the Wadawurrung nation

acknowledgement of country

Our Lands

Our Young People

Our Elders

At Lore School, we’d like to acknowledge the wonderful and ancient lands where we live, work, and play.

We pay our respects to our Ancestors for their guidance and support from the Dreamtime....

Our Elders

Our Young People

Our Elders

We also want to honour our Elders - That lead the way. That bravely share our history, lore and culture. May we support them to keep nurturing us to stay resilient and peaceful....

Our Young People

Our Young People

Our Young People

And to our young people - who carry the world on their shoulders. We see you. You are our future. Stay deadly, proud, connected to country, community and self so our culture continues to heal the earth for generations to come.

About Lore School

why lore school

I was not raised in a pre-colonial era, yet I was deeply connected to the land, held spiritual beliefs, and had a large community around me.

I was raised in the Baha'i faith on 52 virtues. I was fundamentally taught to love and be loved. I had a massively supportive family and actively engaged in my community and learnt skills and lessons from my countless time in nature. In essence, my lifestyle was grounded on the fundamentals of pre-colonialism, deeply connected to the land, spiritual beliefs and community.

Yet, I was lost and needed guidance on how to reconnect for a new era, in a disconnected world.

This is when I experience the calming power of Wayapa Wuurrk, (which means ‘Connect to the Earth') and created Lore School.

By practicing self-sustainability as a starting point for the wellbeing of Earth and our whole selves - earth, mind, body, spirit, we can be proud of the part we played while here, as custodians of earth.

My goal is to inspire the next generation of Australians to honor the past, to shape their future together, in unity.

My goal is to ignite a fire in those whose souls are burning for more.

My goal is to hold space for your inner child to come out to play!

Wayapa® WITH LORE SCHOOL

how is this any different?

Most people today feel disconnected...  From nature, from one another, and even from themselves.

We’ve tried gyms, apps, diets, pills, yoga and our fav YouTube gurus, yet something still feels “missing”. Deep down, in our cellular memory, we know that true wellness is found in connection with a healthy, rich, happy planet. Because if our very source of life is unwell, how can we possibly be well?  Could you smile and breathe deeply over the view of a polluted river? Or would your chest feel tight and your conscious dirty?

Breathe deeply with me, through a 14 nature-based elements education and yarning circle followed by gentle movement and storytelling practice.

Reflect, yarn, listen, recharge, and reconnect with mother nature in real time.

It’s about reactivating what's already inside our DNA.

WHAT IS WAYAPA?

Wayapa® Wuurrk is distinguished by its foundation in Aboriginal cultural knowledge. Combining earth mindfulness, narrative meditation, and physical movement to create a holistic well-being practice.

Wayapa is the first Indigenous wellness modality accredited by the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT).

While other programs may share elements of mindfulness and earth connection, Wayapa Wuurrk's unique integration of Indigenous wisdom and its structured approach to fostering a reciprocal relationship with the Earth, set it apart in the wellness landscape.

We offer a culturally safe environment where everyone, regardless of age, body type, religion or ability, can participate and benefit.
